Penrhyn Enter Ladies Team
June 19th, 2009Penrhyncoch have entered a ladies team for the forthcoming season in the Ceredigion league. Coach of the year, Debbie Jenkins, is confident of fielding a competitive side and anyone interested in playing for her should contact 07813714799. The junior section of Penrhyncoch FC will hold it’s annual BBQ on sunday the 5th of July atthe club, please make every effort to attend and support the future of PFC.
Only 1 Relegated
June 17th, 2009ENTO Aberaman’s decision not to appeal for Welsh Premier status has meant that only 1 club will be relegated from the Cymru Alliance. This means Glantraeth will remain in the league and only Llandyrnog dropping down a level. With the league’s AGM on saturday, there could be further twists before next season’s campaign starts.

Button Scoops Top Awards
June 13th, 2009Despite a poor turnout at this year’s annual dinner and presentation night, it was sixteen year old Liam Button who scooped 2 main awards, winning the supporters player of the year and young player of the year. Former committee member and club stalwart Gwenda Thomas, who died recently, was given a standing minute’s applause by everyone in what was an entertaining night. The award winners are listed below:
